October 16 – Annual Meeting Scheduled – November 11, 2023
The 2023 Annual Meeting of PRRHOA is scheduled for Saturday, November 11, at 1:00 PM. It will be held in the meeting room at the Olalla Market and Landing. You will receive the official meeting announcement and proxy form in a few days in the mail. This year, we are electing two Directors. The election ballot and instructions are included in the upcoming mailing. The Budgets are also up for approval and are included in the mailing. Under Washington law, for the Budget to be rejected, over half the Owners must reject it. The new Washington law supersedes the 60% requirement in our Covenants. Any other issues that may require a vote will be those raised at the meeting. One known vote will be for approval of the 2022 Annual Meeting Minutes, currently in draft form. These are available for review under Meeting Minutes on this website.
One item we will discuss is the need to raise dues to $700 per year to avoid a negative balance in the reserves account in 2024 and again in 2027 and beyond, from which we would never recover at the current contribution rate. The Reserves Summary explains the issues.
