Thanks to the diligent effort of the Point Richmond Ridge Board, Chris, Lauren, Walt, Bruce and our neighbors Gerald Reed, Francois Vigneron, Tom McKee, and Bob Maladay we can all now be proud of how great the playground looks. After hours of trimming, raking, sweeping a trips to the dump the playground is once again a lovely place to sit and read while the kids play.
You may wonder how it is that the foliage got so overgrown? What we learned is that traditionally in Point Richmond Ridge HOA the Garden Club tended to all the open spaces in the neighborhood. Keeping the rhododendron under control and other maintenance tasks has not been a part of the scope of work for the landscaping company. We as a community will need to address this in the coming weeks.
